It would have been very easy for Jens Voigt, former road cyclist, to say 'my legs hurt' or 'I want to give up,' and not finish the race because he was uncomfortable; but he didn't. Instead, he chose to say something more motivational and positive to himself to finish the race. This is the power of self-talk. 

In this weeks Sport Psych Saturday, Brad explains to us what self talk is, how to become aware of our self-talk, and techniques you can use to change your self-talk to be more positive.
