Mental toughness is defined as the idea of being able to push past failures by remaining positive and competitive. It also involves training and preparing oneself to be mentally ready for whatever challenge comes our way.

Athletes who are able to stay mentally tough, like Michael Jordan, will not only have the strength they need to deal with their mistakes or poor performance, but also stay resilience to keep going. They must continue to persevere through the adversities with which we are faced.
